Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United Kingdom entered into force
We have good news. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is making further efforts for the partners: The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United Kingdom has been completed!
Working in the host country
With a MoU, the host country gives permission that the partners of the employees deployed abroad can work in the country concerned.
In recent weeks, employees of the departments Protocol and Host Country Affairs (DPG), Legal Affairs (DJZ) and Human Resources (HDPO) have worked on this on a daily basis. Negotiations on this have been going on for about two years. Very nice that it has been completed now. This MoU entered into force on June 14, 2021 and will remain in effect indefinitely.
